   在日常使用车辆时,开起来好像没有明显异常,但会出现仪表盘上的发动机故障灯突然亮、油耗异常升高、车身油味变重。检查后发现和燃油箱泄漏诊断模块、燃油箱排气系统、NVLD模块有关。


   尤其是2016年以后部分宝马F底盘、G底盘车型,搭载B38、B48、B58发动机的车型中,NVLD相关故障并不少见。今天我们就来聊一下,宝马B系列发动机常见的NVLD三类故障中的碳罐电磁阀。


  When operating a vehicle in daily use, the car drives without obvious malfunctions, yet the check engine light on the instrument cluster may suddenly illuminate, accompanied by abnormally high fuel consumption and strong gasoline odors inside and around the vehicle. Post-inspection confirms these issues stem from the fuel tank leak diagnosis module, fuel tank vent system and NVLD module.


  NVLD-related faults are fairly prevalent on select BMW F and G chassis vehicles manufactured from 2016 onward equipped with B38, B48 and B58 powerplants. Today we will focus on the canister purge solenoid valve, one of the three common NVLD faults seen on BMW B-series engines.

   碳罐电磁阀也是汽车燃油蒸发控制系统中的重要部件。车辆油箱里的汽油在使用过程中会产生油气,这些油气不能直接排放到空气中,而是会被碳罐吸附储存起来。等发动机工作到合适状态时,碳罐电磁阀会根据电脑指令打开,把这些油气送入发动机进气系统参与燃烧。

  The canister purge solenoid valve is also a critical component of the vehicle's evaporative emission control system. Gasoline inside the fuel tank generates fuel vapor during regular vehicle operation. Instead of being vented directly into the atmosphere, these vapors are captured and stored by the charcoal canister. Once the engine reaches optimal operating conditions, the canister purge solenoid valve opens upon commands from the vehicle ECU, feeding the stored fuel vapors into the engine’s intake system for combustion.

   简单来说,碳罐电磁阀的作用就是控制燃油蒸汽什么时候进入发动机燃烧。它正常工作时,该打开的时候打开,该关闭的时候关闭。这样不仅能回收燃油蒸汽,又能保证系统密封性。

  Simply put, the canister purge solenoid valve regulates when fuel vapor flows into the engine for combustion. In proper working order, it opens and closes as required. This design enables fuel vapor recovery while maintaining tight sealing of the EVAP system.

碳罐电磁阀常见的故障状态主要有两种:

一种是常开,关不上

另一种是常闭,打不开

这两种情况表现不一样,维修判断方向也不一样

There are two typical fault conditions for

the canister purge solenoid valve:

one is stuck open and fails to close

the other is stuck closed and cannot open

These two faults lead to different symptoms

and require distinct troubleshooting approaches



(1)碳罐电磁阀常开,不会关闭 Purge valve stuck open

   如果碳罐电磁阀卡在常开状态,等于燃油蒸汽会在不合适的时间持续进入发动机进气系统,导致混合气比例异常。


    如果电磁阀关不上,油箱里的燃油蒸汽就可能被过量吸入发动机,导致发动机启动时混合气过浓,从而出现不好启动、怠速不稳等现象。同时,长期过量油气进入还会使氧传感器信号失真,ECU误判空燃比,进一步加剧油耗上升与排放超标。

  If the canister purge solenoid valve is stuck open, fuel vapor continuously flows into the engine intake system at improper times and disrupts the air-fuel mixture ratio.

  When the valve cannot seal shut, excessive fuel vapor is drawn into the engine from the fuel tank. This creates an over-rich air-fuel mixture during cold startup, resulting in hard starting and rough idle. Long-term excessive vapor intake distorts readings from the oxygen sensor, causing the ECU to miscalculate the air-fuel ratio. Consequently, fuel consumption rises abnormally and exhaust emissions exceed standard limits.

(2)碳罐电磁阀常开,不会关闭 Purge valve stuck open

   另一种情况是碳罐电磁阀卡在常闭状态。当电脑发出打开指令时,电磁阀没有正常打开。这种情况下,碳罐里吸附的燃油蒸汽无法顺利进入发动机燃烧,燃油蒸发系统的压力释放和油气回收就会受到影响。


   如果碳罐电磁阀长期打不开,碳罐内的燃油蒸汽无法正常被发动机消耗,系统压力变化异常,车辆电脑就可能判断燃油蒸发系统工作不正常,从而报码。


  The other failure mode is the canister purge solenoid valve stuck closed. The valve fails to open even when the ECU sends an opening command. Under such circumstances, fuel vapor stored in the charcoal canister cannot flow into the engine for combustion, impairing pressure relief and vapor recovery of the evaporative emission system.

  Prolonged stuck-closed condition traps fuel vapor inside the canister and causes abnormal system pressure fluctuations. The vehicle control unit detects the malfunction in the EVAP system and triggers a diagnostic trouble code.

  需要使用专业诊断设备读取车辆完整故障码,确认故障是否指向燃油蒸发系统、碳罐电磁阀、燃油箱排气系统或 NVLD 模块相关问题。

  A professional diagnostic scanner is required to retrieve full vehicle DTCs and confirm whether the faults relate to the EVAP system, canister purge solenoid valve, fuel tank vent system or NVLD module.

  检查碳罐电磁阀的插头、线束以及供电控制线路,确认是否存在插头松动、针脚氧化、线路破损、虚接、短路等问题。

  Inspect the connector, wiring harness and power control circuit of the canister purge solenoid valve to check for loose connectors, corroded pins, damaged wiring, poor connections or short circuits.

  检查电磁阀本体,确认是否存在常开、常闭、卡滞或关闭不严等情况。

  Inspect the purge valve body for stuck-open, stuck-closed, sticking or incomplete sealing faults.

  同步检查碳罐和相关管路,在维修过程中,还应检查管路是否老化、开裂、堵塞,接口是否松动,碳罐内部是否存在堵塞或活性炭粉化等问题。

  Simultaneously inspect the charcoal canister and associated hoses. During repair work, check the hoses for aging, cracking or clogging, loose fittings, as well as clogging or powdered activated carbon inside the canister.
